A new specialized 'Brain Health Clinic' has officially opened in Delhi, dedicated to treating brain-related disorders. This clinic serves as a medical facility focused on the care and treatment of various neurological conditions.
Inauguration Details
The clinic was inaugurated by Delhi's Health Minister, Pankaj Singh, at the Indira Gandhi Hospital located in Dwarka. Officials indicated that the clinic aims to provide neurological treatment to residents at the district level within the next year.
Services Offered
According to a statement, this clinic has been established under India's brain health initiative, with support from the NITI Aayog and technical assistance from the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS). It will offer diagnosis and treatment for conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, dementia related to memory loss, migraines, and other mental health disorders.

Health Minister Pankaj Singh emphasized that this clinic represents more than just a facility; it is a mission. He encouraged individuals facing brain-related issues to seek help without hesitation and to avoid delaying treatment. Plans are in place to establish similar centers in every district.
